Service Offerings for Talent Clients

We take a holistic look at our individual talent clients’ needs across a range of representation and agency offerings. At the outset, we launch each talent client relationship by determining the appropriate combination of the following services:

ENGAGEMENTS AND ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY

• Commercial representation for speeches, consulting, management education, and board placement. This is our core offering to our talent client. Our affiliation with Monitor provides us access to a wide variety of corporate and institutional clients who are looking for particular outside expertise.
• Relationship Management. We believe in finding multiple outlets and channels to extend the reach of our representation. To that end, we identify and work with other agencies and bureaus—that meet high standards for service and ethical behavior—to co-market to corporate buyers and event planners. We manage all of these relationships for our talent clients.

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

• Goal-setting and planning. We work with our talent clients to determine the most important priorities and tactical actions for their professional careers, bearing in mind their expertise, market position, passions, and practicalities.
• Marketing and branding support. We make available leading branding and marketing coaches to work with our talent clients. Together, we ensure that there is a coherent and differentiated communication to the market of our talent client’s unique viewpoints, expertise, and ability to add value in any engagement.
• Writing and literary management support. Many of the individuals we work with are developing new books. We assist authors in shopping their book projects, provide access to leading literary agents, publishing houses and book promotion specialists.

UNIQUE COLLABORATION, EXPOSURE, AND NETWORKING CHANNELS

• Applied Innovation Networks. We position our talent client as resources within our Applied Innovation Networks, which specialize in sparking innovation. We form diverse networks of key thinkers and practitioners around hard-to-solve problems, emerging trends, and other areas of corporate interest.
• Events. A significant part of the value we create together comes from connecting the talent clients in a variety of ways, such as ongoing Monitor Talent events, virtual discussions, “raves” (brainstorming meetings), and special events such as receptions and book parties. We will also have a collaborative website debuting in 2007 to showcase our talent clients and facilitate idea formulation.

SUPPORT CAPABILITY

• Graphics and production support. We help our clients create compelling visual materials and video assets through our multimedia and design capabilities.
• Research support. We can make available, for reasonable fees, the extensive resources of the Monitor Group companies, many of which are engaged in cutting-edge research and intelligence gathering.
• Access to administrative support. As needed, we can locate and make available, at favorable rates, assistance across a variety of personal services, such as tax, accounting, secretarial, or travel and concierge services. As expected, we ensure that the quality and performance of all of our service partners is absolutely first rate.
